Nachdem bereits sein SAW Kollege PA Sports im April diesen Jahres mit einer Soloscheibe vorgelegt hat, steht nun KC Rebell mit seinem neuen Album "Rebellismuss" in den Startlöchern. Auf seinem zweiten Solowerk, präsentiert der Ruhrpott Rapper dabei erneut eine inhaltliche Kombination aus technisch versierten Straßenrap und ernsthaften Themen, bei denen teils die Grenze zum großen Pathos bereitwillig überschritten wird. Nach bislang drei releasten Musikclips zu Rotblaues Licht, Amina Koyim und Rosen, wird sich nun zeigen, ob KC Rebell den Achtungserfolg seines Debuts "Derdo Derdo" toppen wird.
Passend zum Release des Albums am 1.6. 2012 über Life Is Pain/Wolfpack Entertainment traf Visa Vie nun KC Rebell zum Interview in Berlin. Während sich PA Sports für Bootsfahrten noch nicht erweichen konnte, stieg KC zusammen mit Visa Vie für das Gespräch in ein schnittiges Tretboot. Gesprochen wurde dabei über seinen Werdegang bis hin zum aktuellen Label Life Is Pain sowie die damaligen Angebote von Eko Fresh und sido. Weiterhin reden die Beiden über das experimentelle Amina Koyim, die Annäherung an Kool Savas, Rap Skills sowie sein Competition Gedanke.
Im weiteren Verlaufe des Interviews geht es um KC Rebell's Einstellung zu Romantik & Kitsch, sein allgemeines Verhältnis zu Frauen sowie die Diskrepanz zwischen seinen klassischen Rapskills und Liebesliedern. Weitere Themen sind KC's Familie, Titanic, Vorurteile gegenüber seiner Musik, "Differenzen" mit Pa Sports und Fußball.
